My husband REALLY likes banana pudding, you know the kind that’s layered in a dish with pudding, bananas and vanilla wafers? He also enjoys the Dairy Queen’s banana cream pie blizzard. Well, in honor of father’s day, I wanted to create a twist on that dessert, using our favorite vanilla icecream instead.

Here is what you need:
Vanilla wafers
Breyers natural vanilla ice-cream
Bananas
Cool whip or whipped cream

Amounts are dependent of course, on how many servings you are making.
Crush some vanilla wafers in a baggie.

Then start layering.

The order in which I layered was:
Vanilla wafers
Ice-cream
Banana slices
Cool Whip
Then I repeated the layers.

To make it extra pretty, I garnished it on top with a sprinkling of wafers and a banana slice.

Let me tell you, this is a keeper! It was so yummy, and could easily compete with the yumminess of a banana cream pie blizzard.
Hope you enjoy!
Blessings,
