When I saw a picture of a gorgeous Cobb salad in the 2011 December issue of All You Magazine, I just knew I had to make it. I have made this type of salad before, but had never presented it this way, so colorful, geometric and delicious looking.

It looks so appealing for a hot, humid, summer day meal!

Here is what you need:
Romaine lettuce
Grape tomatoes
Cooked chicken or turkey, cubed (for ease, I used turkey lunchmeat)
Avocado
Bacon
Blue cheese, crumbled
Dressing

(I didn’t give exact amounts because it’s so dependent on how many you are serving).
To make up the plate or platter, first lay out your romaine lettuce.

Then arrange the other ingredients’ in rows.

Top with the dressing of your choice, and it’s ready to serve.

Doesn’t that look so easy and appealing? Hope you enjoy!
Blessings,
