Fun Yard Sale Finds

The last few weeks have been good for yard sales!  I've been tickled to find some things to decorate with and some practical items as well. I think you tend to enjoy something more when you get a good deal on it, and yard sales are known for good deals!

I bought this pretty little string of ball shaped lights for my daughter's room for a dollar. Don't they look sweet?

I picked up this heavy pretty dresser for $38, and bought some gorgeous new knobs for $12 and here is what it looks like after:

A perfect fit beside my desk holding my printer. The drawers are perfect for  the overflow from my desk.

This good looking shelf was $20 and  I've already put it to use in a lonely corner in  my living room.

I also found these.....

Two heavy duty racks to help organize my kitchen cabinets; they were only a dollar each!
It was so fun to browse around and find some "new" to me things for my home.  I found a few other treasures that I'll show you later. Hope you find some good deals too!!!

Blessings, Margo

You found some great things. Those racks are great for storing canned goods in your pantry so that they don't get lost behind one another!

These are some really great finds! I love yard sales! One woman's junk is another woman's treasure. And the Summer time is perfect for yard sales.

I had a great day today as well. A nice pine small TV stand for my son $10 (sanded and painted already), a bread box $8 to be painted white and a nice tin for in my new pantry $12.

Very useful finds. And I am proud of you for having them in use already.
My finds are still in the van, waiting for their turn to be photographed and shared.

I really need to try garage sale shopping, I've never done it. Great finds, I love the little dresser, and I need those same shelf risers for my spices. 🙂

You DID find some treasures. Love what the knobs did for the chest. And is there anything better than getting to fill a new bookcase?
