Puff Pastry Pizza Pockets

Can you say “puff pastry pizza pockets” 3 times really fast!? I sure can’t!  Anyhow, I used puff pastry for the first time a few weeks ago when I made these mini boston creme pies.  I really like working with it, and since the puff pastry itself isn’t sweet, you could use it for sweet or savory recipes. I decided to try and make pizza pockets with it, and I was pleased with how they turned out.

Here is what you need to make 4 pizza pockets:
1 sheet of the puff pastry

It comes 2 sheets to a box so you could make more!
Thaw and then cut into 4 squares. I put a dab of sauce on each one, but didn’t use much so it wouldn’t leak out or get soggy. You could leave it out, and just dip them in sauce when they’re done.

Assemble what you want to fill them with. I used pepperoni, hamburger and cheese, but choose what you like.

Then just pile your toppings on, and fold over and seal with a fork.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 17 minutes till lightly golden. Let cool before eating because the filling gets really hot.
