Meal Plan for the Week of Nov. 7th
We had a beautiful week here weather wise, and we were able to do some yard work, raking and mowing and some weeding around my blueberry bushes. I am starting to think about Christmas shopping since it’s hard not too with Christmas trees in all the stores. Yesterday my hubby and I went for a walk and saw a lady hanging up garland and Christmas lights! That’s a little early for me… Anyway on to the menu:
(Any combination of the following)
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (My kids love it)
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Grocery list: Tortillas, taco rice, chicken, turkey or beef, black beans, taco seasoning, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheddar cheese
Grocery list: Ground beef or turkey, spaghetti, onion, taco seasoning, can of corn, cheddar cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, tortilla chips, sour cream, olives, green chili peppers
Fish and Perogies
Grocery list: Fish, perogies, green beans, fruit
Hebrew National Hotdogs
Grocery list: Hebrew National hotdogs, turkey chili, hotdog buns, carrot sticks, baked tortilla chips, apple slices
Grocery list: Eggs, bagels, carrots, apples
Strawberry Banana French Toast
Grocery list: French bread, 2 pkgs. frozen strawberries, eggs, 4 bananas, pumpkin pie or apple pie spice, cinnamon
Grilled cheese, Tomato soup, and peaches
Another busy week ahead, and menu planning makes dinner time so much easier. Having everything on hand and knowing what you’re fixing is more than half the battle. Have a good week!
Those burritos look delicious!
Okay, so what do you do to make the strawberry topping for the french toast? I am making french toast for supper tonight, and would love to try that!
Yummmmmy! Your menu plan looks wonderful.
The strawberry French toast looks really good! Enjoy your day!
Lovin’ that Taco Spaghetti!! Had it twice last week!
Sounds delicious! I wish my husband liked pierogies. He’s not a fan so I don’t make them very often.
I think we would love the taco spaghetti! Thanks for sharing, we’ll be trying that very soon!
