Have you ever thought about different ways to use a muffin pan/cupcake tin?

However,  there are practically limitless ways to use these exceptional pans!

I love this idea for freezing leftover soup in muffin pans.
Since we home school, we are most often at home for lunch, and soup works great for lunches.

Just pop them out when they are frozen and put in a freezer bag,
then microwave for a quick meal.

Muffin and cupcake pans are awesome for organization as well.

Doing a search on Pinterest gave some more fantastic ideas for using all the muffin pans you could come up with:Mini quiches

  • Mini meatloaves
  • Pepperoni pizza puffs
  • Freezing stock
  • Cookie cups made from cookie dough
  • Little round brownies
  • Monkey bread
  • Mini cheesecakes
  • Candle holder
  • For dyeing Easter eggs
  • Making crayons
  • Storing craft supplies
  • Freezing single servings of ice cream for a party

I’m sure there are tons more ideas out there, but hopefully this will give you some new ideas. I know it did me!

I started using silicone muffin pans because my old metal pans were hard to clean and I wouldn’t get them dry enough, and they would rust. Now I’ve learned to put my pans back in the still warm oven after I wash them, so they get nice and dry and don’t rust.  The silicone bakeware requires special care with handling because it’s floppy and can get punctured, so here is a link for some information that is helpful in taking care of it.

So true! I just found one when I was cleaning up my sewing room this weekend that was full of beads. I have used them as crayon molds and soap molds in the past, too.
