Cool Lemon Dessert

We enjoy cool whip on quite a few desserts around our house, and in the past I posted about some fun different ways we enjoy using cool whip. Since lemon desserts seem to be all the rage right now, I tweaked a favorite super easy dessert to make it “lemony,” and it was fresh, sweet, cool and tangy!

  5. Okay I’ve combined lemon pudding mix and cool whip to make a great frosting but never lemon jell-o and cool whip to freeze. This sounds A-MAZ-ING. We are so going to have to try this. I would love to have you link this up to Titus 2 Tuesday next week on Cornerstone Confessions.

  13. Hi! My grandmother used to make a lemon Jell-o/Cool Whip dessert and I’ve been searching for it online. This is the closest I’ve found but I’m confused – your insteuctions don’t indicate whether you actually make the Jell-o and then add the Cool Whip, or just mix the Jell-o powder into the Cool Whip? Seems it wouldn’t dissolve that way.. sorry for the dumb question!!
    Thanks for a reply –
    ~Marina.

    1. You don’t make up the jello, you simply mix the powdered jello contents with the cool whip and whip it together really well, amazingly it does dissolve. 🙂

  14. Thank you! I was struggling with what dessert to bring for my book group this week and just like that problem solved!

  15. I’m assuming you could use any flavor jello instead of lemon. This looks like a great dessert for diabetics. Thanks for sharing.
