Rummage Sale Treasures

Tis the season here for those fun warm weather treasure hunts. After all, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. My sister and I love to  pick and search our way through garage and yard sales in search of things “we just can’t live without.” Here are some of my latest and greatest finds, a lot of which were in my porch makeover that I showed you last week.

I have some makeover plans for this weathered tray which was only a dollar or two from a local church’s rummage sale.

This little basket of greenery set me back a dollar as well as the cute little birdhouse which now graces my screened in porch.

This little pot of tulips was $1.50, and brings some vibrant color to my porch. Even though I splurged on the furniture for my porch, I didn’t have to for decorating it!

I haven’t figured out the perfect spot yet for this dainty wreath, but I just love it.

This little side table that I also used in decorating my porch was a yard sale find too!

My final little treasure is these sconces which will go very nicely with my decor when I find just the right spot.

Thrifty shopping is my favorite for home decor items!

  3. Really love all your treasured finds but that little table is my very favorite, what a find. It’s an unusual style but just love it. I’m a nutty table person. Can’t seem to get enuf of them, like to use a variety in my home.Your porch is so nice.
