Menu Plan for the Week of October 1rst
My daughter finally received her “Grow A Frog” tadpole in the mail.
She is so obsessed excited! Because most of us in our family are allergic to either dogs or cats, we obviously can’t have a regular pet, and it really grieves my daughter since she has a true love for animals. We look forward to his (although she tells me we won’t know if it’s a boy or girl for about 8 months) transformation into a frog.
Ok, here’s the meal plan for the week:
(Any combination of the following)
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (my kids love it)
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Lasagna soup and breadsticks
Grocery list: Canned tomatoes, ground beef, pasta, beef broth, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning and breadsticks
Grocery list: Ground turkey or beef, kidney beans, pinto beans, corn, canned diced tomatoes, can of tomatoes and chiles, taco seasoning, ranch dressing packet, cheddar cheese and sour cream
BBQ chicken, noodles and mixed vegetables
Grocery list: Chicken, ketchup, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, noodles, mixed vegetables
Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas
Grocery list: ground turkey, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, potatoes, peas
Ham and cheese sliders and raw veggies
Grocery list: Dinner rolls, ham, swiss cheese, mustard, poppy seeds, worcestershire sauce and veggies
Hope you have a great week!
