Menu Plan for the Week of December 30th
Happy New Year! (almost) We had a white Christmas which was my children’s wish. I am looking forward to the new year, hoping and planning on making healthier choices in my spiritual, physical and mental lives…baby steps!
(Any combination of the following)
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (my kids love it)
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Quiche and Banana bread
Grocery list: Pie crust, eggs, broccoli, cheddar cheese, bacon or ham (or just veggies), white and whole wheat flour, sugar, bananas
Buffalo Chicken Soup
Grocery list: Celery, carrot, onion, chicken, chicken broth, buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese and brown rice
General Tso’s chicken, and egg rolls (I get them from Sam’s Club)
Toasted peanut butter and banana sandwiches and fruit salad
Grocery list: Bread, bananas, peanut butter, honey, powdered sugar and assorted fruits
Chicken noodle soup and the best Light rolls
Grocery list: I start with canned soup, and then doctor it up with extra chicken, broth and vegetables; light roll ingredients-flour, yeast, eggs….
MPM definitely keeps me on track. I actually look forward to Mondays!
This New Year’s Eve, I’m staying home, cleaning our house and doing some blog visiting. Hubby had to work so it will be quiet.
Your menu plan looks delicious.
Have a wonderful week and a Happy New Year!
Yum! Everything looks delicious. I’m intrigued by the buffalo chicken soup, it’s not too spicy for the kids? Stopping by from Menu Plan Monday. 🙂
What a great plan and all it takes is a little time to sit and write out what’s on hand. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your pesto salad looks delicious! Thanks for sharing! I love getting organized with menus for my family. Have a great day!
