Easy Cheeseburger Quesadillas

I happen to love quesadillas, and often order them when we eat out, but they can be just as good or better when you make them at home. These cheeseburger quesadillas are scrumptious!

Ingredients:

  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of McCormick Hamburger Seasoning or Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped onion
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • pickles (optional)
  • ketchup, mustard and/or mayonnaise or barbeque sauce

Directions:

Step 1: Brown and drain your ground beef, and then add onion to taste and your seasonings. (I usually brown my beef when I get home from the grocery, and then package it for meals and freeze till I’m ready to use, so I microwaved mine with the seasonings.)

Step 2: Mix your hamburger and cheese together.
Step 3: Then warm a skillet on medium heat, and spray with cooking spray (or if you wish, cook them in a little melted butter).
Step 4: Lay a tortilla flat in the pan and top with whatever toppings you like. You can put your condiments on it now, or just dip your quesadilla in them later.
Step 5: Then fold it over and flatten a little with a spatula, spray the top with cooking spray (to help it get crunchy when you flip it), and keep peeking under it till it gets golden brown and then carefully flip it over. It only takes a couple of minutes.

A mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup tastes so good on these! I could eat these every night. Barbeque sauce is also a nice change of pace.
Enjoy!
