Joyful Homemaking

Joyful Homemaking

A Heart For Home

Hairstyle

May 3, 2013

Recently we decided to make my daughter’s hairstyle a little easier to manage, and with her permission, we went from this:

It made it a lot easier to take care of, yet long enough to still fix in pretty long hairstyles.

The other day I wanted an extra cute hairstyle for her, and I found a picture in Cozy’s Complete Guide to Girls’ Hair that was darling.

It started with a french braid.

Then I collected some beads and bobby pins. (or you could use hairpins)

I slid the bead up the bobby pin on the front,

and slid it in the top of the braid,

all the way down.

I added a bow for extra sweetness.
Isn’t it pretty!? This would be a special look for a special occasion, maybe with some sparkly beads!
(Be sure to keep beads away from little ones.)

What a great idea! I’ll have to do this (when my daughter actually lets me do her hair). Thank you for sharing at our Pinteresting Party!

Love this tip! It is so easy and fun. I am always looking for new ways to do my daughter’s hair. I would love for you to link this up at Mom’s Library! Hope to see you there. http://www.trueaimeducation.com/6-unique-rainy-day-activities-for-kids/
