Dish Soap Bubbles
We have lots of fun with bubbles at our house! Our current experience is trying to teach our youngest son to blow bubble gum bubbles.
He wants to learn so bad, but we haven’t had any luck yet…
Now, soap bubbles are easy to make!
A while ago, we tried snake bubbles, and they were a riot!
Here’s where you can find out how to make them!
Our newest way, I found over at Happy Hooligans, one day when our stored bubble solution from last summer seemed to have completely lost it’s potency.
It was a cinch, with things you already have on hand, and worked like a charm!
You need an empty paper towel roll, whole or cut in two,
and a couple of Tablespoons of dish liquid.
Don’t stir or shake around the dish liquid, just use as is,
and dip the end of the paper towel holder into it.
Without touching the other end of the tube with your lips,
lightly blow through, and voila, BUBBLES!
It may take a few tries to get the hang of it, but you will.
Make sure your little ones don’t suck in the bubbles.
It works way better than traditional kid’s bubbles.
We tried it with different dish soap, just to make sure it worked with other types, and it did!
I don’t think we’ll ever go back to regular bubbles! Have fun trying it out with your kids!
Awesome! Those bottles of kids bubbles you buy at the store are maddening. They don’t work! Thanks for sharing your testing and results from your fabulous bubble test. It’s a wonderful thing to know. 🙂
