Helpful Dinner Ideas to Make Dinner-Time Easier
It’s a new busy week especially with Christmas less than 3 weeks away! I’ve been adding ornaments to the tree as I have time and energy, and my youngest son has too, so maybe in a day or so we’ll have it finished… I’ve only bought 2 books so far for Christmas gifts, but for some reason I’m not stressing, just trying to be productive and do what I can. I am thankful for online shopping and 2 day shipping!
If you’re mind is too full of holiday preparations to decide what’s for dinner, here are some ideas to get you started! The Grilled Cheese from the Oven is really great for a super quick easy meal on a hectic evening, just pair it with some canned tomato soup and a fruit cup, and dinner is served!
Pizza Bread Salad
Grocery list: Italian salad mix, breadsticks, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and Italian dressing
Store bought frozen breadsticks and ready washed salad mix from the grocery make this so simple.
Roasted Garlic Vegetable Lemon Basil Chicken Pasta
Grocery list: Tomatoes, chicken, zucchini, asparagus, pasta, onion, lemon juice, thyme, oregano, parsley and basil
This isn’t my recipe, but it’s so delicious, I hope you’ll try it!
Grilled Cheese in the oven with raw vegetables
Grocery list: Bread, cheese, butter and raw vegetables
The nice thing about grilled cheese made in the oven is not only that it’s extra scrumptious, but you can make a large amount at one time.
Grocery list: Pizza dough, pasta sauce, taco sauce and seasoning, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes and lettuce
I made this pizza this week, AND we had it for lunch the next day as well, and it was just as good the second day.
Tuna, broccoli & pasta casserole and cheddar biscuits
Grocery list: Tuna, broccoli, pasta, cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs
This is a tasty way to get in some seafood.
Easy Cheeseburger Quesadillas
Grocery list: Tortillas, ground beef, Cheddar cheese, steak seasoning, onion, lettuce, tomato and pickles
I think I could eat these two or three times a week, they are that good.
My dessert choice for this week is easy and amazing:
It’s Peach Dump Cake with toasted pecans. Everyone I’ve ever made this for has loved it!
