It’s a beautiful new week as we start the fall season, and my family and I have been getting our money’s worth out of our large hammock. It’s so relaxing, and when it’s just my hubby and me, it’s kind of like a mini date. We can enjoy just talking and cuddling. 🙂
This summer was so busy with a number of things, including our oldest son’s wedding. I had lost about 20 pounds over the months leading up to the wedding, but since then, I’ve been eating everything in sight. Sooooo… my hubby and I are going to try and buckle down this week and watch our portion sizes. 😛
I hope you and yours are doing well, and that you’re able to get outside some, and enjoy the pretty weather in your neck of the woods!
Here’s what’s on my menu plan for this week:
Mexican Street Corn Pasta Salad from Chelsea’s Messy Apron–this was yummy, just don’t forget to put in the black beans like I did! 😛
Grocery list: Romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cooked chicken or turkey, avocado, bacon, blue cheese and dressing
Crispy Bean Burritos (Taquitos)
Grocery list: Tortillas, refried beans, taco seasoning, Cheddar cheese, oil, salsa and sour cream
Tuna Pot Pie
Grocery list: Tuna, cream of chicken soup, frozen peas, fresh carrots and pie crusts
Grocery list: Chicken, brown sugar, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and red pepper flakes
Grocery list: Rye bread, corned beef, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing
My dessert choice for the week has only 2 ingredients!
