Well, as you know, October is here, and at least in my neck of the woods, the leaves are starting to look like they were touched with a red paintbrush. The humidity filled heat is gone for the most part, and we’re wearing fleece jackets and hoodies outside. It’s my hubby’s favorite time of year, and I can’t say I blame him! This means I start adding some steaming soups, stews and chili’s to our meal plan, and this past week I made a yummy Broccoli Cheddar soup with grilled cheese sandwiches! So good! Broccoli Cheese Soup
Grocery list: Broccoli, Cheddar cheese, onion, flour, butter, cream (I used skim milk), chicken broth, carrots and nutmeg
