Meal Planning for the Week

Wow, it’s 2017!  Can you believe it?  I plan on being depressed for the year, since I turn 50 in 2017…just kidding about being depressed…sort of.  😛  I remember being sad when I turned 30, then melancholy when I turned 40, and now almost 50 is sounding a bit dismal.  All of that though is just the vanity in me.   In reality, I AM THANKFUL for the time I’ve had on this earth, and grateful for whatever time I have left, and tremendously blessed that when this life is over, I am promised eternal life with no sorrow or pain, through faith in Jesus Christ.
I’m always sort of glad when the busyness of the holiday season is over, but I’m not one to hurry and take the Christmas tree down, as my family enjoys the soft light and the coziness it provides, especially in the evenings after dinner.

Speaking of dinner, for this year’s menu plans, I’ve teemed up with Jade from Jonesin’ for Taste, and several other bloggers, to provide you with lots of fresh new dinner and dessert ideas!

So here we go…
