Fall Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Do you love Fall as much as I do? The beautiful colors of the leaves changing, the wonderfully comfortable temperatures, the enjoyment of warm sweet beverages, and my personal favorite, candy corn!

Which brings me to another reason to enjoy this time of year, this colorful, tempting and tasty snack mix!
Isn't it pretty!?
Want to bring smiles to everyone?
Bring this treat to your next gathering!

Fall Sweet and Salty Snack Mix, Joyful Homemaking

This is a cinch to make with pretty much whatever your favorite sweet and salty fall snacks are. The only caveat is that if you use any dried fruit in your custom mix, add your pretzels and bugles at the last minute or the fruit will make them soft. I used yogurt covered raisins in my mix, and because the raisins were covered, there wasn't an issue with moisture.

Here are the ingredients I used, but you are welcome to choose your favorite candies, and I'll give you some other options that work well too.

I've estimated some of the amounts, and you feel free to as well depending on how much you want to make.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 16 ounces of candy corn/pumpkin candy mix (Brach's is the best)
  • 6.5 ounces yogurt covered raisins
  • 10 ounces M&M's (or more)
  • 10 ounces white Reese's minis (unwrapped) or the mini peanut butter cups
  • 3 cups of Bugles (which are a corn snack shaped like a cornucopia)
  • Large handful of pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup of salted party peanuts

Pour all of your ingredients in a large bowl and gently stir/toss to mix together. If you're not serving immediately, store the mixture in an airtight container or a 2-gallon ziplock bag.

If you'd like to give this as a gift, fill a large mason jar with a tight lid, and tie a bow around it!  🙂

Oh this looks all kind of yummy!

Your candy looks much better than England’s candy!
