10 Easy & Delicious Sandwiches for Summer or Anytime
If you’re like me, you’re probably always on the look out for quick and easy ideas for feeding your family on busy or exhausting days.
Since the Covid-19 virus started locking down my state around the 13th of March this year, my family and I have not eaten out, or gotten take out, even when places started opening back up. With my severe asthma we just decided we’d rather not take any risks that we didn’t have too. (It’s certainly not because I didn’t want to support small businesses, my heart aches for so many).
So, as of today June 11th, 2020 which is 91 days (but who’s counting?), I have been preparing meals for my family without the occasional fallback of eating out or takeout. However, I must admit that sometimes I’ve taken advantage of a few already prepared foods from the freezer section of the grocery.
Some of my conclusions after eating only at home all this time are:
- I’m so thankful that we have had plenty of food available, and for all the workers in the food chain that have worked so hard to provide the food!
- I can live just fine without eating out on the weekends, and I can save a bunch of money by not doing so.
- How convenient it is to have super fast and easy meal ideas, and groceries on hand, for the days that I just don’t have a lot of energy to cook..
Under the circumstances, sandwiches have become one of my new favorite “fast foods.” They can go together so quickly and easily with just a few ingredients on hand! So, today I’m sharing with you 10 amazingly yummy sandwich choices that will make “eating in” a pleasure and a cinch!
