Serving Size 4-6
Ingredients
2 to 3poundsfreshnot frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts (around 4-6 depending on size)
1Bottle of ranch dressinglight or regular, but I wouldn’t use fat free
1/2cupor one stick of butterI like salted, but unsalted works too
Instructions
Spray crockpot with cooking spray and place in the chicken breasts. Cut up butter into pieces and place on top of the chicken. Pour ranch dressing over the top.
Cook chicken in crockpot on high for around 3-4 hours or low around 5-7 hours depending on how hot your crockpot runs.
It’s done when it’s so tender it just flakes apart with a fork. The internal temperature that’s considered safe for cooked chicken is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once you take out the chicken breasts, scoop out the sauce, whisk it, and serve over your chicken breasts like gravy
