Baked Tacos

This is my family's favorite way to make and eat tacos. The cheese gets all melty and gooey and delicious!

Ingredients

  • One pound ground beef
  • 6 hard taco shells
  • 1 one ounce package taco seasoning or homemade seasoning
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: black beans Spanish rice, taco sauce, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef thoroughly and then drain. Add back to pan with 2/3 cup water and taco seasoning, over low to medium heat, and stir while simmering for around 4 minutes.
  • Line up your taco shells in a baking dish, and portion out your meat into the shells.
  • Top the meat with your desired amount of cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes, till your taco shells are slightly toasted, the meat is warmed through, and cheese is all gooey and melted.
  • Top with your favorite toppings and serve!
