Ingredients

  • 7.5 ounce can of 10 biscuits
  • oil for frying
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Heat up about 2 inches of oil on Low heat. You want TINY bubbles in the oil. I put the oil on a back burner so the hot oil is away from the edge.
  • By pulling gently, make a large hole in the middle of each biscuit.
  • Then I usually test one first in the oil to make sure it’s hot enough and not too hot or they'll burn. You want your doughnut to get a light golden brown on the bottom, and then turn it over. Watch them because they get done quickly.
  • Drain on paper towels, and let them cool slightly.
  • You can then mix up some cinnamon and sugar and shake them in a brown bag or baggie to coat. I use 1 tablespoon of cinnamon to 1/2 cup of white granulated sugar.
