Ingredients
5
Tablespoons
unsalted butter
melted
One 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
8 biscuits in a can
1/2
cup
granulated sugar
2
Tablespoon
cinnamon
Frosting
2 options:
Homemade glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla & 1 to 2 Tablespoons of milk
OR my favorite
store bought canned vanilla frosting, slightly melted for drizzling
Instructions
Make your cinnamon sugar by combining the granulated sugar and cinnamon, and melt your butter in a separate bowl.
Open the biscuits and dip them in the butter, then coat them individually thoroughly and thickly with the cinnamon sugar, on all sides.
Place on a lightly greased baking pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for just around 14 minutes or till done.
While they are cooling for a few minutes either mix up your powdered sugar glaze or spoon out a large spoonful of store bought vanilla frosting and
just melt it for less than 10 seconds in the microwave, just so it’s barely pourable, not “liquidy.”
Then you are ready to drizzle to your heart’s content. My personal favorite is to use the store bought vanilla frosting because it is so much
richer.
