If you don’t want big pieces of butterscotch (I didn’t), chop up your chips very finely with a knife.
This way they incorporate flavor without large obvious chunks.
Then add these and the sprinkles lightly to the batter. If you mix too much, you will make all the colors run together, and they might not look as pretty.
Pour into a greased 11×7 baking dish, and if you like, add some extra confetti sprinkles on the top.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Let cool thoroughly so the bars can “set” before cutting them.
