Beef and Spinach Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces usually half a box depending on size of your favorite uncooked pasta
  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon refrigerated jarred minced garlic
  • 15 to 16 ounce jar of pasta sauce
  • 14-1/2 ounce broth chicken, vegetable or beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook your pasta and drain.
  • Brown your ground beef and drain any fat, then add the garlic, pasta sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer for 5 to 10 minutes till it thickens a bit. Stir in the spinach, and cook for a couple more minutes.
  • Add pasta and cheese to the meat mixture. Give it a couple of good stirs, (while still on the heat), and you are ready to serve.
