1 28ouncecan of petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil
1poundof ground beefcooked and drained
15ouncesof your favorite pasta sauceI love Prego Traditional
1teaspoonof Italian blend seasoning
2cupsof beef broth
1cupof water
2 1/2cupsof cooked pastaI like the Cellentani shape
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella or Provolone cheese
Instructions
First, brown your ground beef and drain. Then add the key ingredient, these very special delicious tomatoes which are in garlic and olive oil, the pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, broth and water. Let it simmer while you cook the pasta.
I usually cook the ground beef ahead of time in bulk, in the crockpot.
After your pasta is cooked and your soup base has simmered for about 15 to 20 minutes, add the cooked pasta and stir gently.
When ready to serve, top with Parmesan cheese and/or mozzarella cheese.
