Ingredients
2poundsground turkeycooked (could also use pork or beef)
2cupsshredded cabbageI just use the coleslaw mix
1 1/2tsp.garlic salt
1/2tsp.pepper
1tsp.sugar
2packages of wonton wrappers52 in a pack
Oil for frying
Makes 75 wontons
Instructions
Mix cooked ground turkey with the cabbage, garlic salt, pepper and sugar.
Put a tablespoon of filling in the middle of the wonton, dip your finger in water and run along the outside edge, then fold one corner over to the other and seal all around the edge.
Coat bottom of frying pan with oil or cooking spray, and fry on low to low medium heat for around 5 minutes or till lightly browned turning a couple of times.
I like to spray each side of the wontons with cooking spray to help them brown up a little crispy, and in between turning them over, I also put my lid on my pan to help “steam” the inside.
