Prep Time 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground turkey cooked (could also use pork or beef)
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage I just use the coleslaw mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 packages of wonton wrappers 52 in a pack
  • Oil for frying
  • Makes 75 wontons

Instructions

  • Mix cooked ground turkey with the cabbage, garlic salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Put a tablespoon of filling in the middle of the wonton, dip your finger in water and run along the outside edge, then fold one corner over to the other and seal all around the edge.
  • Coat bottom of frying pan with oil or cooking spray, and fry on low to low medium heat for around 5 minutes or till lightly browned turning a couple of times.
  • I like to spray each side of the wontons with cooking spray to help them brown up a little crispy, and in between turning them over, I also put my lid on my pan to help “steam” the inside.
