Strawberry Banana "Ice Cream"

  • 2 bananas
  • 3 strawberries
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative I used rice milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon or lime juice optional (I added to keep the bananas fresher)


  • Prepare a tray and wash the strawberries.
  • Slice the strawberries and bananas, and spread them out on the tray. Freeze for at least several hours.
  • After they are frozen, add them all to a blender or food processor, along with the vanilla, milk, honey and juice.
  • Blend and add more milk as necessary, mine was so thick that I ended up using almost a half a cup of rice milk.
  • You may have to stop and stir the ingredients several times.
