Mix dry ingredients together right in your mixing bowl.
Then add butter, molasses, water and egg.
Beat for two minutes, and pour into a well greased 9 x 9 inch pan.
Bake for around 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until top springs back lightly when you touch it in the middle.
It is best served warm, cut into squares, and topped with whipped cream, regular or cinnamon cream.
