  • 1 28 ounce can of petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil
  • 1 pound of ground beef cooked and drained
  • 15 ounces of your favorite pasta sauce I love Prego Traditional
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian blend seasoning
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 1/2 cups of cooked pasta I like the Cellentani shape
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella or Provolone cheese

  • First, brown your ground beef and drain. Then add the key ingredient, these very special delicious tomatoes which are in garlic and olive oil, the pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, broth and water. Let it simmer while you cook the pasta.
  • I usually cook the ground beef ahead of time in bulk, in the crockpot.
  • After your pasta is cooked and your soup base has simmered for about 15 to 20 minutes, add the cooked pasta and stir gently.
  • When ready to serve, top with Parmesan cheese and/or mozzarella cheese.
