Make up the cake mix according to the regular directions, and divide the batter into three bowls equally.
Add 1/4 cup of a different color to each bowl and mix with a spoon.
Then spoon 2 Tablespoons full of each color into each cupcake liner. 1 cake mix makes 24 cupcakes.
I even used a book under the pan so it would tilt a bit and keep the colors from running together so much, while I was filling the pan.
Be careful not to overfill.
Bake according to package directions.
Let them cool and your are ready to frost.
