Microwave chocolate, peanut butter and butter till nice and melted and very stir-able (is that a word?).
Measure your cereal into a large bowl.
Then add the vanilla to the chocolate mixture ( I always forget this step).
Pour the chocolate somewhat liquid mixture over the cereal and use a large spoon to gently mix
it to coat all the cereal pieces. Then the recipe says to put the powdered sugar into a 2 gallon ziploc bag (which I never seem to have on hand) so I usually divide the sugar into two gallon size bags, and then divide the coated cereal mixture between the two bags. Shake to coat with the powdered sugar.
Spread it out on foil or wax paper to cool down, although by now it’s pretty cool.
Then store in a ziploc bag or container. The recipe says to store in the refrigerator although it doesn’t last that long at my house!
