Clothing shopping is a new type of post for me, since I usually talk about meal planning, yummy recipes, or organization of some kind, but one of the few things I like about Winter is the opportunity to shop online and avoid the cold and crowds, especially around Christmas!
Since I’ve had Amazon Prime for several years, which for a yearly fee of less than $100 gives me free two day shipping on just about whatever I want to order, I end up doing lots of my shopping on Amazon. The Amazon Prime membership also gives you unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Video, and the ability to borrow books from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.
I not only buy lots of my Christmas gifts on Amazon, but also clothing for my family and myself.
To make sure things will fit, and that I’ll be happy with them, I like to check out several different areas on an item’s listing page on Amazon:
*whether it’s a Prime item–if I’m in a hurry and want it in two days with free shipping
*the Star ratings–I tend to only purchase items that have at least 4 stars
*the Size Chart and Fit as Expected Percentage–this helps to know if things run small or large
*the Product Description–gives more details so you’re not surprised by something
*Customer Questions & Answers–if you have a question, it’s possible someone asked it already
*Customer Reviews–there’s always one unhappy camper, so I do take that into consideration
With taking all these things into consideration before I purchase something, I’ve had very few returns compared to the amount of things I end up buying. Since I’m not a crowd person, I LOVE shopping online for Christmas too, but today I’ve been looking at some fun winter fashions that are available on Amazon so you don’t have to leave home to find some wardrobe staples.
