Happy new week! I hope you are doing well! I share lots of new delicious dinner ideas with you each week, but to be honest with you, my dinners are not all fancy meals that require lots of ingredients. Life is just too busy at times, and sometimes I’m just plain worn out when dinner-time comes along. So I like to keep items in my freezer, pantry and/or refrigerator for hectic days.
My quick standbys for no fuss dinners are: Low fat hot dogs (the best quality ones I can find), pasta with butter or jarred sauce, scrambled eggs and toast, frozen veggie burgers, burritos with whatever leftover chicken or beef I have on hand, turkey sandwiches, grilled cheese and frozen pizza.
To add to the nutritional value of quick meals like these, I always have on hand (to add to my meals): Raw baby carrots, bananas, apples, or the prepackaged fruits in their own juices, like peaches, mandarin oranges and pineapples.
Here’s the group of ladies that I’m working together with, to provide you fresh menu ideas each week! 🙂
