Happy new week! I hope you are doing well. My precious daughter had a birthday this week, and she begged for a guinea pig. So we finally agreed, and now have a new member of the family. Evidently guinea pigs like the same types of vegetables we do, like lettuce and peppers. As you probably know, our food pyramid suggests striving for around 3-5 servings of veggies a day, depending on your age. If you have trouble getting in enough vegetables each day, adding some mixed greens, baby carrots, or even some fresh sliced peppers to your dinner, can easily up your vegetable count for the day.
Here’s the group of ladies that I’m working together with, to provide you fresh menu ideas each week! 🙂
This free combined meal planner and grocery shopping list printable is my favorite so far!
You can print it out in two sizes, and use it to help you with your meal planning.

I’m doing a 1950s style meal plan this week. We had spaghetti and meatballs tonight and are going to have stuffed peppers later in the week. I love the printable you have here – I’ll share it on my blog!
I followed you here from I’m an Organizing Junkie. If you’d like to pay me a visit and check out my 1950s menu, here is the link: http://lifewithdee.com/menu-monday-1950s-style/
Have a beautiful week!
As always, everything looks delicious!
A guinea pig? How fun! My son really likes the hamsters, though when he was little he did want a guinea pig. I think that was during our Wonder Pets phase.
Have a great week!
