I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. We always enjoy getting together with our extended family, and this year was no exception. I think everyone’s belts are a little tighter today, but it was a wonderful day.
I am in the mood for a simple menu this week, so here is my plan:
Breakfast Options:
(Any combination of the following)
French toast
Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast
Eggs
Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Pancakes
English muffins
Muffins
Lunch Options:
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (My kids love it)
Ravioli
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Soup
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Dinner:

Baked teriyaki chicken
peas, mashed potatoes, and carrots
Grocery list: Chicken, potatoes, peas, carrots, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar and ginger

Sesame noodles and broccoli
Grocery list: Angel hair pasta, broccoli, soy sauce, garlic, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, hot chili oil, canola oil and green onions (optional)

Turkey burgers, baked beans, carrots and spinach salad
Grocery list: Turkey burgers, buns, carrots, spinach and baked beans

Penne, tomato and mozzarella salad
Grocery list: Penne, tomatoes, olive oil, green onions, garlic, mozzarella cheese,
Parmesan cheese, basil, black olives (optional)

Chicken nuggets, baked french fries, apple slices and carrots
Grocery list: Chicken nuggets, french fries, apples, and carrots

Chocolate chip pancakes, ham, carrots and peaches
Grocery list: Pancake ingredients, ham, carrots and peaches
New Years Eve we like to have finger foods, including ham and swiss on rye bread squares and any leftover Christmas cookies.

I love that you list lunch ideas. I have 5 kids & homeschool, too. Planning dinner meals isn’t hard, but I get to bored with lunch. Thanks for your ideas. Happy New Year!
Everything looks just delicious…wow love all the menus..it looks like a lot of planning for an organized person…I am a new follower come on over for a visit.
looks like an easy week! i also love your breakfast and lunch ideas. im lucky if i have a chance to eat during the day so i need to come up with easy things for breakfast and dinner when its just me and the baby. sometimes i only have 5 minutes to make something. i need some ideas on makeahead so i can either gran and eat or grab and heat up.
