, Menu Plan for the Week of January 20th, Joyful Homemaking

As I am writing this menu plan, we still have our Christmas tree up! My seven year old is having a hard time with letting us take it down. The first thing he does when he gets up in the morning is run to the tree and turn the lights on. I must admit, it does give the house a nice coziness in the morning before it gets light outside, but I do hope before I publish this post that we get our Christmas decorations put away…we’ll see.

  1. You’re making me hungry! I love that your lunch menu is simple but FUN for kids. We struggle so with lunch around here–fostering a picky eater or two doesn’t help with that, though the one who is almost 16 can now make her OWN lunch! 🙂
I had to comment because our Christmas tree is still up and fully decorated too.
    Happy Homeschooling!

  2. It all looks great, but would like to try that Navy Bean Soup. What cornbread recipe do you use…from scratch or box? My husband likes his really moist, so still trying to find a recipe he will love.
