As I am writing this menu plan, we still have our Christmas tree up! My seven year old is having a hard time with letting us take it down. The first thing he does when he gets up in the morning is run to the tree and turn the lights on. I must admit, it does give the house a nice coziness in the morning before it gets light outside, but I do hope before I publish this post that we get our Christmas decorations put away…we’ll see.
Breakfast Options:
(Any combination of the following)

Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast

Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Pancakes

(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)

Ravioli
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Soup
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Dinner:
Veggie and cheese omelets, fruit and toast
BBQ chicken, noodles and mixed vegetables
Grocery list: Chicken, ketchup, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, noodles, mixed vegetables
Cobb Salad
Grocery list: Romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, turkey, avocado, bacon, blue cheese and dressing
Black bean, corn and chicken taco bake

You’re making me hungry! I love that your lunch menu is simple but FUN for kids. We struggle so with lunch around here–fostering a picky eater or two doesn’t help with that, though the one who is almost 16 can now make her OWN lunch! 🙂
I had to comment because our Christmas tree is still up and fully decorated too.
Happy Homeschooling!

I love ‘breakfast’ for dinner, and bean soup with cornbread is like wonderful comfort food for me. Great menu!!
It all looks great, but would like to try that Navy Bean Soup. What cornbread recipe do you use…from scratch or box? My husband likes his really moist, so still trying to find a recipe he will love.
These look great, thanks for the ideas! I am your newest follower!!
