Easter is a special time for my family because of our faith. We believe that after dying on the cross for the sins of the world, Jesus rose again, and is now preparing a place for us in heaven. So we’ve never promoted the easter bunny to our kids, but we do still enjoy making colorful, sweet, traditional “Easter/Spring” treats! Also, my mom always hosts a huge egg hunt, where she fills dozens of plastic eggs with money and candy for her grandkids to hunt. It’s so much fun! She’s the one who introduced her children and grandchildren to the twinkie car. 😉
I’ve included several of her favorite treats in this roundup, as well as some other gorgeous sweets from our “Think Tank Thursday” parties, and a couple of mine. 😛 Your mouth is sure to be watering checking out these edible crafts. I know mine was, although I also love all the gorgeous spring colors in everything!

OMgosh, I love these!!! Baking with my mom at Easter is one of my absolute happiest Easter memories. We used to make rice krispy treats and an Easter Bunny cake. I don’t have kids of my own but I’ll be seeing my niece and nephew this year so I’ll have to try a few of these with them.
I love baking with my mom too! So thankful for good memories like that!
Aww, these are all so cute and fun. I love the macadamia easter bark and the Easter bird’s nests. I’m going to pin this for some Easter inspiration.
Hope you have fun! 🙂
This is a great list. I’m sure my kids would love all of them.
Aren’t they pretty and fun too! 🙂
