Menu Plan for the Week of December 12th

Happy Monday! Two weeks till Christmas! The kids helped me decorate the tree last weekend while hubby was away. This is the second year they have vetoed white lights, which I prefer, but I think it turned out pretty anyway.

 Menu Plan for the Week of December 12th, Joyful Homemaking

Here's the menu plan for this week:
Breakfast Options:
(Any combination of the following)
French toast
Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast
Eggs
Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby's choice)
Pancakes
English muffins
Muffins

Lunch Options:
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these "entrees")
Pasta  (My kids love it)
Ravioli
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken,  turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Soup
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner

Dinner:

Taco Spaghetti
Grocery List: spaghetti, corn, ground beef or turkey, onion, taco seasoning, cheddar cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, tortilla chips, sour cream, olives and chili peppers

Lasagna soup
Grocery list: ground beef, onion, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, lasagna noodles or rotini pasta, Parmesan and mozzarella  cheese, salad ingredients

Egg rolls and General Tso's chicken (from Sam's Club), rice and veggies

Garlic mashed potato pizza and raw veggies
Grocery list: store bought pizza crusts or homemade ingredients, mashed potatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic

Steak fajitas
Grocery list: Tortillas, sirloin steak, olive oil, onion, lime juice, garlic, cumin, hot pepper flakes, sweet peppers, salsa, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato

Scrambled eggs, rolls, grapes and broccoli

    Yummy! Thanks for sharing those recipes for the taco spaghetti and lasagna soup. I have been looking for new recipes to try that my picky eaters would eat and these might just work. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Your Christmas tree is beautiful! Looks like it's packed full of family memories and keepsakes. My kind of tree!

    I'm definitely going to have to try the taco spaghetti! It's like tacos without the mess!
