I’m excited to show off some of my recent bargain finds, some practical and some just decorative…

I found this darling bench at my local Restore store and could not pass it up, as it went with my bedroom colors perfectly. I put it at the foot of the bed, and I usually set the decorative pillows on it at night.

I bought a pile of delicate pretty Pottery Barn curtains at a rummage sale for around $3. I may not use them for curtains though, I have some other ideas to use the fabric and ribbon–maybe for some fabric flowers or appliques, or if I get really ambitious, something feminine and pretty for my daughter.

On the practical side of things, this Quick Chop was $3, and after researching on Amazon, it seems I saved about $10.

These canisters added some color to my kitchen for around $6. I probably could have haggled some, but I’m usually too reserved, and would just rather pay the asking price if it’s realistic.

I was thrilled to find this “vintage” looking serving set for $3, AND, it came with a lazy Susan!

I can use it with the set or without.

My last find isn’t fancy, but it’s very functional, and it was this, in excellent shape fully reversible winter coat for my youngest son, for $2! Children grow so fast, that many times their clothing only lasts one season, so it’s nice not to have to pay full price for everything.
I am NOT in to clutter, so I’m pretty picky about not bringing home just anything and everything, but if I REALLY like something or it’s functional and practical AND the right price, it makes the cut.
The summer season for yard sales will be winding down soon here, so sad, but then I usually have fun browsing in several local thrift stores.
Have fun bargain shopping!
