When I was approached to do a review and giveaway for Lilla Rose, I was so excited, because I have seen their products on various blogs and love the look of their hair clips! I was able to pick out one to try, and I picked the “Antique brass princess tiara” (not sure WHAT that says about me).

I chose the large size since my hair is pretty thick, and it came packaged with a styling ideas brochure, which was helpful and fun.

I tried a few hairstyles with it, and my six year old son was my photographer.

He was trying so hard to hold the camera still, so he could get “good” pictures for mommy’s blog.

This is called the flexi-clip, and it is a one piece clip, which is nice because you are not going to lose the slide, and it comes in 7 different sizes. They are comfortable and well made. Because my hair is thick, the large size works best for updos. For half up styles, a smaller size would be more secure.
Sometimes with long, coarse hair like mine, it is hard to feel like your hairstyle looks neat and tidy or elegant, and these clips really give a nice option that helps in that area.
