I’m not a huge fan of fudge, I just think I haven’t found the right recipe yet, but this recipe is a cross between fudge and a candy bar, and my family really enjoyed it!

I slightly changed the recipe which I found in an old Ohio State Grange Cookbook.
Here is what you need to make it:
1 cup of peanut butter and chocolate chips mixture
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup party peanuts
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Line an 11 x 7 or an 8 x 8 pan with foil.

In a microwave safe bowl,

heat the flavored chips (except 1/4 cup of minis), and the peanut butter, for around a minute, or until everything is partially melted, and can be mixed.

and stir all together.

Pour into foil lined pan and spread out.

Sprinkle the top with the mini chocolate chips.

Put in the refrigerator to firm up for about 2 hours, and it’s ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of peanut butter and chocolate chips mixture

Instructions

  • Line a 11 x 7 or an 8 x 8 pan with foil.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, heat the flavored chips (except 1/4 cup of minis), and the peanut butter, for around a minute, or until everything is partially melted, and can be mixed.
  • Then add the marshmallows and peanuts, and stir all together.
  • Pour into foil lined pan and spread out.
  • Sprinkle the top with the mini chocolate chips.
  • Put in the refrigerator to firm up for about 2 hours, and it's ready to serve.
  • Cut into whatever size pieces you like, but a little goes a long way. When you are finished serving, keep the remainder in the refrigerator.

This is a fun little treat that you don’t often see as a dessert, but it’s a nice cool surprise dessert for summer or anytime.
Fun, delicious, chocolatey, and the only cooking is in the microwave!
