Menu Plan for the Week

I don't understand why, if kids like chicken, vegetables, and pasta, individually, why do they HATE them if they're mixed together?  One night at dinner this week we had an epic battle.
Normally, I'm pretty easy going if the kids don't like something, and I'm content if they'll just try 2 or 3 bites of it.
However, this week I stood my ground, probably since I had a parental "flash forward" to my kids being all grown up, and surviving on only pizza or pasta!  Now I know that's an exaggeration, BUT sometimes it feels like that's all they like.  I keep throwing words of encouragement at them like, "You know, every two weeks you get entirely new tastebuds; so you might like it this time..."
Not sure they're buying it... but they did have to finish at least half of their portion this time. 😈
How do you deal with picky eaters???

This weeks menu plan is bound to have some family pleasing choices, even a couple variations on kids' favorites, like pizza and sloppy joes!  So enjoy!
