Our family of five includes two 6’3″ men, one of whom I’m married to, and the other is my 20 year old son, and they eat a lot, plus there’s also my other two kids and I. So when I grocery shop for food, I tend to buy a lot of things in bulk. I never just pick up one pound of ground beef or turkey, or even one 3 pound bag of chicken breasts, I always pick up several of each, and then the next couple of days after my trip, I cook it all up, and freeze it in meal size portions so it’s ready for the rest of the week or two weeks.
Soooooo, I like to have lots of simple but delicious ideas on hand for using up my ground beef or turkey, and since my beef is already cooked, it makes for a quick and/or easy dinner. In 2014 I posted 5 Family Friendly Ground Beef Dinners, and now since I have some newer recipes, I thought I’d publish 8 more. 🙂
So here are 8 more family favorites!
Crock Pot Beef, Vegetable and Rice Soup
Hamburger Pie (Similar to Shepherd’s Pie)
Don’t those sound yummy? I know you’ll enjoy them!
