When I saw a picture of a gorgeous Cobb salad in the 2011 December issue of All You Magazine, I just knew I had to make it. I have made this type of salad before, but had never presented it this way, so colorful, geometric and delicious looking.
It looks so appealing for a hot, humid, summer day meal!
Here is what you need:
- Romaine lettuce
- Grape tomatoes
- Cooked chicken or turkey, cubed
- Avocado
- Bacon
- Blue cheese, crumbled
- Dressing
(I didn’t give exact amounts because it’s so dependent on how many you are serving).
To make up the plate or platter, first lay out your romaine lettuce.

That looks yummy! We ate a lot of cobb salad last summer, and I fully intend to do it again this summer. Your presentation is lovely.
Looks so yummy! I’m pinning and I might just have this for supper tonight.
That salad looks fantastic and delicious! I think I’ll make it!
