My sweetie’s favorite candy is peanut butter cups, so for Valentine’s Day I made him this peanut butter chocolate pie that has peanut butter cups in it! However, this dessert is scrumptious for any holiday, or even no holiday at all! Yum! 🙂

Here is what you need: (From Taste of Home’s Busy Family Favorites)

  • 6 ounces of peanut butter cups
  • 1 cup milk (I used skim)
  • 3.9 ounce package of instant chocolate pudding
  • 8 ounces cool whip (I like the “light”)
  • chocolate crumb crust

Step 1:  Mix your chocolate pudding and cup of milk together till the pudding is dissolved.

Step 2:  Chop up your peanut butter cups while the pudding is set up a bit.

Step 3:  Fold your cool whip into the pudding till combined,

Step 4:  Add 2/3 of the chopped up peanut butter cups.

Step 5:  Gently mix in, and pour into pie crust. Top with the remaining peanut butter cups.

Step 6:  Depending on how you like it, you could either chill in the refrigerator or in the freezer for a few hours. I froze mine so it would slice easily and not be too soft.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

This dessert is special and perfect for a special occassion!

Ingredients

This pie is not only delicious but pretty too!
