It is no secret around here that certain members of my family LOVE a good grilled cheese sandwich! I’ve shared a few on here before, including:
Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Pesto
Grilled Cheese made in the Oven
Avocado, Tomato & Habanero Monterey Jack Grilled Cheese
This one is a super family friendly grilled cheese choice: Pizza grilled cheese! (modified from Sewlicious Home Decor)
It’s a breeze to make, and so gooey and yummy!
What you need:
Italian bread
Pepperoni
Block or sliced mozzarella cheese
Butter
Optional: Pasta sauce for dipping
(The exact amounts depend on how many you are making, of course)
Butter one side of each slice of bread, and lay butter-side down.
Top generously with pepperoni slices.
Then add a couple of thick slices of mozzarella cheese, and top with buttered bread.
Toast on panini grill or griddle, or in a frying pan (with a metal lid weighing down the sandwich). It took 4 minutes on my griddle, so maybe two minutes
on each side in a frying pan on medium heat, or till your bread is golden, and your cheese is wonderfully melted.

It’s a scrumptious choice to add to your dinner or lunch menu!
This sounds super good! I’m not a meat eater, but they make vegetarian pepperoni that I may try with this. 🙂
I bet it would be scrumptious! We eat some vegetarian options too, like Morningstar Farms breakfast sausages!
