I found this little wooden “shelf” (I am not sure of its original use) at a church rummage sale and decided to spruce it up and make it useable for some of my kids’ books.
I gave it a coat of primer, and then found some leftover paint.
After two coats and some drying time…
I thought it was looking more unique.
Here’s how it looks in the boys’ room holding some of their books, and I am pleased at how well it complements the colors in there!
It’s fun to take paint and transform something into a new something!
The shelf looks great.. I have a few small shelves in my spare room that is finally getting cleaned out and eventually I will repaint them too and find unique uses for them..
Robyn 🙂
