This is another one of my mom’s recipes! She has the best ones. I don’t know the original source, but the recipe is simple and delicious.
INGREDIENTS and DIRECTIONS:
- 3 Quarts of popped popcorn–set aside in a large bowl–(I use 94% fat free microwave popcorn, about 2 1/2 bags of the 77 grams size)
- SCREEN FOR UNPOPPED KERNELS! (They are hard on the teeth)
- Then add to a saucepan:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- Bring to a boil these three ingredients, and boil hard for two minutes.
- Remove from stove.
Add in:
1 cup of peanut butter
1 tsp. of vanilla
Stir till blended and smooth.
Pour over popcorn and stir till all coated.
Then spread it out on sheets of waxed paper or foil to cool down.
That’s it! So easy and so yummy!

My son LOVES popcorn. This would be such an awesome treat for him. Thanks so much for sharing at Strictly Homemade Tuesday. I hope you will be back this week to share some more ideas with us!!
I grew up on this recipe! Last week the kids and I found really cute popcorn bags at Michaels and decided to make this and deliver it to neighbors. So yummy!
The first part sounds like No Bake Cookies. I wounder if you could modify it with the addition of cocoa powder and then get that same taste. You could even make the peanut butter corn, and then the chocolate corn, and mix them together… hmmm… might have to try that!
Just made this, and it’s delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe. : )
I think I am going to have to break my no eating after 6pm rule tonight so that I can try this one! Thanks for sharing.
