Meal Plan for the Week of March 2nd

I’m glad it’s a new week, ’cause last week was CRAZY! Although as I write this, our weathermen are forecasting a huge snowstorm, so that may be an interesting start to this week. They’re not always right, so we shall see…

Last week, our little chipmunk friend entertained the children and I while we did school work, and this week, it was a hungry squirrel eating all our bird food! The kids LOVE watching the wildlife, so I can’t mind too much.

Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
English muffins
Baked oatmeal
Breakfast cookies
Cinnamon rolls
Pumpkin pancakes
Baked eggs and cheese casserole
Toasted peanut butter & banana sandwich
Coconut Quinoa Granola

Lunch Menu:
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta  (my kids love it)
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers

(Great for the crockpot)Grocery list: Chicken, onion, garlic, chicken broth, chili powder, red pepper flakes, quinoa, sweet potatoes, black beans, kidney beans and petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil

Bacon and egg crescent squares and fruit salad
Grocery list: Eggs, crescent rolls, bacon, Parmesan cheese, parsley and assorted fruits

Tex-Mex Cheddar Mac and salad or raw veggies
Grocery list: Hamburger, mac and cheese dinner, salsa and Cheddar cheese
